  • BKT Bici Pública operates Guadalajara’s MiBici bikeshare system composed of 300 stations and more than 3,000 bikes. Station locations include one right in front of the Expo!

Entry Requirements to Mexico as of 5/19/22

  • A negative COVID-19 test is not required for entry. Health screening procedures are in place at airports and other ports of entry.

Re-entry Requirements for Canada and the US as of 5/19/22
Please review your country’s re-entry requirements prior to travel.

  • Canada: Use ArriveCAN to submit your travel plans and upload your proof of vaccination within 72 hours
  • United States: Negative test required within 24 hours

COVID-19 Testing Sites:

Transportation in Guadalajara


Here's everything you need to know about getting to the conference hotel and getting around the city.

Getting from the Airport to the Hotel
We’re glad that you’re joining us in Guadalajara for the 2022 conference! Once you land, getting to the Westin Guadalajara is easy. Here are the available options:

  • Uber (This is the only ride-hail service available. The fares are quite affordable.)
  • The Westin Guadalajara offers a pick-up service for a small fee. Contact the hotel in advance to schedule your pick-up.

Getting to the Conference Venue, Expo Guadalajara
When you’re ready to attend the conference, walk across the street outside the hotel lobby entrance. From there, follow the NABSA-branded signs to the Expo entrance.

Getting Around the City
Due to its well-connected network of main avenues, moving around Guadalajara is easy. Along the busiest roads, you can find buses, taxicabs, subways, a bus rapid transport system throughout the city, and, of course, MiBici.

MiBici
MiBici, Guadalajara’s resident bikeshare system, is composed of more than 3,000 bikes and 300 docking stations, including one in front of the Expo! You can easily find a nearby bike or station on the website map or on the MiBici app. Learn more about how to use MiBici here.

Ride-hail
Uber is available in Guadalajara and is very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, Lyft is not available.

Mi Transporte Public Transportation System
If you’d like to experience Guadalajara’s public transportation system first-hand, then try out the Mi Transporte public transportation system. The best way to access the systems is through the Mi Movilidad card program. The card is the approved payment method for Mi Tren, SITREN, Mi Macro Calzada (Macrobus), and MiBici.
