NABSA Convenes Members to Provide 2023 Updates, Share Board Service Information, and to Connect with One Another
On July 18th, NABSA’s Executive Director, Sam Herr, and NABSA Board President, Steve Hoyt-McBeth, updated members on what NABSA has accomplished so far this year, and provided information about board service and the upcoming nomination and election process. Members had the opportunity to meet and share with other NABSA members during the member social time.
Check out these highlights from the event:
- State of the Industry Report – The 4th Annual Shared Micromobility State of the Industry Report is nearly here and will be released in August.
- Meddin Scholarship – The recipient of the 2023 Meddin Emerging Researcher Scholarship is recent Masters graduate, Casey Auch.
- Diversity Equity and Inclusion – We launched a new blog and social media series called Workforce Diversity Wednesdays and are partnering with Better Bike Share Partnership to update the Workforce Diversity Toolkit, which will launch at our upcoming Annual Conference.
- Advocacy – We updated our advocacy resource webpages to make it easier to find and engage with all of the information that is there, published a Canada one-pager resource, and we’ll be coming out with a shared micromobility electrification advocacy resource later this year.
- Member Engagement – As a benefit of NABSA membership, we relaunched the Member Directory feature in the Member Center. The Member Directory is one of the many ways that NABSA facilitates connections between members.
