NABSA Convenes Members to Announce 2023 Strategic Directions, the 2023 Conference, and to Connect with One Another

Each year, the NABSA Board and staff put member feedback to work by incorporating it into strategic directions for the coming year. On January 24th, NABSA hosted a member event announcing our strategic directions for 2023 and offering members an opportunity to meet and connect. Attendees of the event were also the first to know what’s in store for the 2023 Annual Conference!

Check out these highlights from the event:

  • 2023 Annual Conference – The 2023 Annual conference will be in-person in Hamilton, Ontario with a bonus day in Toronto, September 19-22. Mark your calendar! We are so excited to head to Hamilton and Toronto this year!
  • Advocacy – With so many new resources added last year, we will be updating our advocacy resource webpages to make it easier to find and engage with all of the information that is there.
  • Diversity Equity and Inclusion – NABSA’s DEI Committee plans to update and relaunch the Workforce Diversity Toolkit with both Spanish and French translated versions. This relaunch will include a conference session, virtual event, and jobs in shared micromobility spotlights through the year.
  • Global State of the Industry Roundtable – NABSA will be hosting a roundtable discussion about the state of shared micromobility across the globe with leaders from Céntrico, Cycling Industries Europe (CIE), ClimateWorks, and the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) on February 21st. Details coming soon!
  • Member Engagement – Members have a variety of ways to connect with NABSA and other members. These include the monthly newsletter, social media, member-only Slack channel and members-only listserv, member center, various knowledge sharing resources, and member events.
  • State of the Industry Report – Operator and agency surveys for the 2022 State of the Industry Report will be sent out in early February. If you are an operator or agency contact for this, please keep an eye out for it in your inboxes, and thanks in advance for your responses!
