NABSA values the presence and contributions of people from a diversity of backgrounds and organizations to make this conference a success. We don’t want cost to be a barrier to participation. We will offer scholarships that cover the cost of registration to conference attendees.

Eligible recipients include city, advocacy group or community-based organization staff or volunteers focusing on shared micromobility and equity, or others focusing on the intersection of social justice and transportation as part of their primary work. Applicants must:

  • Demonstrate that their professional work is in the area of shared micromobility,
bikeshare, bicycling, transportation, social justice, or related field
  • Demonstrate that scholarship assistance is necessary to allow them to attend this
    conference

We are unlikely to offer support to more than one person in an organization.

Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis; we will not consider requests for scholarships after October 1, 2021.

The Rolling With It: Empowering Shared Micromobility Virtual Conference is a great opportunity to showcase shared micromobility solutions and gain recognition for supporting the shared micromobility community.

The NABSA Annual Conference is the only conference of its kind globally. The conference is an international cross-sector convening of all sectors involved in shared micromobility planning and implementation – host cities, equipment manufacturers, operators, technology providers, and consultants.

Now in its seventh year, the conference looks to celebrate the growth in the micromobility industry.

“NABSA, and its annual conference convening leaders in the micromobility industry, is an essential force in building relationships and pushing for policies that set shared bike and scooter systems up for growing impact in communities across North America. Lyft is proud to play a Presenting Sponsor role again for this year’s conference after learning firsthand the value of sponsorship over the past 3 years. Serving as a sponsor not only allows us to support NABSA, but also gives us a powerful forum to demonstrate industry leadership and expand our relationships.”

– Caroline Samponaro, Lyft

“PBSC was happy to sponsor the 2017 NABSA conference as it took place in Montreal. The NABSA conference is a unique occasion to exchange with all the North American Bikeshare stakeholders and great opportunity To spend time with many of our clients at the same time and meet Bikeshare colleagues.”

– Adrian Popovici, PBSC

“Today, the discoveries and ventures within the micromobility sector make the NABSA conference a dynamic and ever-changing venue where everyone can come and learn from the latest developments in the sector. On that note, it should be remembered that nothing like NABSA exists beyond North America, so the potential for the association to become the leading policymaker for bike sharing at a global level is real. NABSA is, without doubt, the global bike sharing conference worldwide.” – Kristian Brink, Urban Sharing
