NABSA Convenes Members and Shares Exciting Plans for 2026
Each year, the NABSA Board and staff put member feedback to work in our strategic directions for the coming year. On February 5th, NABSA hosted a member event discussing what’s ahead for 2026 and offering members an opportunity to meet and connect.
Here are a few things to have on your radar for 2026:
- Next Event: Federal Funding Programs for Shared Micromobility – NABSA will be hosting our next member-only event March 17th at 2pm ET to explore federal funding programs available for shared micromobility. This will expand on the funding series on our blog. Registration details coming soon!
- Podcast Series – NABSA will be releasing a podcast series this spring. We are excited to share more details in the months ahead!
- 7th Shared Micromobility State of the Industry Report Underway – Operator and agency surveys are out, and the report will be released this summer. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the report!
- US Hill Day – Building off the success of last year’s event, NABSA will be hosting another US Hill Day this June and continue to work on our priorities for surface transportation reauthorization.
- Provincial Level Strategy – NABSA is beginning to develop a provincial level strategy to respond to how transportation dollars are managed in Canada.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging – With the support of NABSA’s DEIB committee, we will be creating a digital version of the DEIB Self-Assessment from the Building a Better Shared Micromobility Industry Toolkit. The assessment will be interactive, making it more accessible and easier to use.
- 2026 Annual Conference – The 2026 NABSA Annual Conference will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio October 6th through 8th. The call for presentation proposal will open early next month!
- Better Bike Share Partnership – NABSA is kicking off our first year as an official partner of the Better Bike Share Partnership and we are looking forward to what is to come in 2026 and beyond.
- Updates to NABSA’s Social Media – Connect with us on LinkedIn and Facebook! This year we will be sunsetting our X account and exploring NABSA’s presence on new social media channels.
