The North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association (NABSA) collaborates across sectors to grow shared micromobility and its benefits to communities, creating a more equitable and sustainable transportation ecosystem. NABSA is the shared micromobility industry’s membership organization with representation from system owners, operators, host cities, equipment manufacturers, and other service and technology providers.
NABSA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources, education, and advocacy for the shared micromobility industry, and to creating spaces for the industry’s public, private, and nonprofit sectors to convene and empower each other.
NABSA has a Code of Conduct that outlines the organization’s core values: Safety, Diversity/Equity/Inclusion/Belonging, Integrity, Health, and Sustainability. These core values guide NABSA as well as NABSA members in the industry.
Currently, NABSA has about 70 member organizations, 13 board members, and two staff. NABSA hosts an annual conference, produces a state-of-the-industry annual report and other white papers, facilitates cross-sector communication and networking, conducts advocacy work, and offers educational opportunities throughout the year.
