Member Spotlight: Mello Vello


Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Mello Vello provides support to shared mobility operators across North America with goals to help make the user experience as seamless and optimal as possible. Their service offerings include: customer support service to system users, operator-facing customized software to make field and workshop processes easier, system feasibility studies, hardware recommendations, and equity program consulting. The team is made up of shared mobility professionals who have designed, operated and scaled bikeshare systems and understand the challenges and opportunities within bikeshare. 

In 2024, Mello Vello expanded their service delivery to operator-partners in two cities to start providing virtual onboarding for users signing up for equity programs. Mello Vello aims to improve access for the program participants by providing the ability to call in on evenings and weekends to get fast and friendly service. Their goal is also to reduce the lift for local operations staff who want to increase subsidized pass distribution but have limited capacity within their existing team.
