Webinar: Bikeshare Data-sharing
Webinar: Bikeshare Data-sharing
NABSA | May 1, 2018
Summary:
Over the past decade, open transit data has led to sweeping changes in how consumers interact with transit systems. Now the same is happening in bikeshare. This webinar will explore how open data can make bikeshare services more transparent, effective and user-friendly. We’ll discuss how open data requirements can both increase ridership and aid cities in monitoring and policy enforcement. We’ll also look at NABSA’s General Bikeshare Feed Specification (GBFS) and how it’s applied to both dockless and station based systems.
Speakers:
Mitch Vars, IT Director, Nice Ride Minnesota and NABSA Board Member
Jake Sion, COO, Transit
Frank Hebbert, Head of Product, Motivate
