From Pilot to Permanent: Navigating New Challenges and Opportunities in the “New Normal”


The pandemic presented many global and local challenges, but it also led to new opportunities for active transportation and shared micromobility. It allowed cities and operators to prototype, test, and pilot to find ways to address the challenges and pivot operations to meet the needs and opportunities of the "new normal". Now, many of these successful pilots are being made permanent and have their own associated challenges.
