NABSA’s 2020 annual conference has gone virtual! Like the rest of the world, NABSA has had to adjust to the coronavirus pandemic. We recognize that these adjustments also apply to our members and conference attendees. We owe it to you to proceed with an event that brings together the greatest minds in bikeshare and shared micromobility in a safe, affordable way.

The NABSA Annual Conference is the leading global venue for bikeshare, shared micromobility, and transportation leaders, practitioners, equipment providers to tackle important issues facing the industry. Join us to learn, network, and chart the future of bikeshare and shared micromobility.

The two-day conference serves as a convening space for shared micromobility professionals and features a variety of topics and speakers. Participants will have access to breakout sessions on topics ranging from open data and privacy to community engagement and marketing.

NABSA member organizations receive complimentary tickets to our annual conference based on membership dues level. To ensure our members receive the same value for the virtual conference that they would normally receive for our in-person conference, we will be providing three times the tickets they normally receive. For example, if an organization normally receives two tickets, then they will receive six complimentary tickets to the virtual conference! Scholarships for additional tickets are also available to government and non-profit organizations that demonstrate financial need.

Together, We Keep Moving is a two-day virtual gathering of shared micromobility and transportation leaders, practitioners, and equipment providers. Together, we’ll tackle important issues facing the industry and learn, network, and chart the future of shared micromobility. You’ll be able to participate in valuable, diverse interactive sessions on key topics in the industry from anywhere in the world.

The virtual conference will take place over two half-days and is hosted on a virtual event platform. The platform allows you to attend breakout sessions, visit the virtual expo, and interact with other conference attendees.

NABSA is excited to bring you an innovative virtual conference hosted on Pathable, a platform powering virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.

How to access the platform

  1. Register for the Together, We Keep Moving Conference by clicking the “Register” tab above. After registering, you’ll receive an email prompting you to create your Pathable profile within 30 minutes
  2. Click the “Sign-in” button in the email
  3. Set your password and click “Complete Profile”
  4. Complete your Pathable profile

Pathable has provided us with a custom URL for our conference that can be accessed here. We recommend bookmarking this URL for easy access later.

Key Features


Conference attendees can schedule 1:1 meetings with other attendees and speakers. From the conference website, hover over “People” in the menu bar, select “Attendees” or “Speakers”, then select the person you want to meet with. From their profile, select the “Schedule Meeting” button then enter the meeting details.

Virtual Expo

Conference attendees can visit our virtual expo and schedule 1:1 meetings and send messages to exhibitors. From the conference website, hover over “Organizations” then select Exhibitors.


Join in public forum conversations or send a message to a conference attendee, speaker, or exhibitor. From the conference website, hover over Conversations in the menu bar. Select either “Public Forum” or “Inbox.” You can also send a message from the person’s profile page.

NABSA values the presence and contributions of people from a diversity of backgrounds and organizations to make this conference a success. We don’t want cost to be a barrier to participation and encourage interested individuals who have a cost barrier to participation to apply for a scholarship to attend. In partnership with the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP), we are offering scholarships to attend. Assistance is available in the form of a discounted or no-cost conference registration ticket.

Eligible recipients include city, advocacy group, or community-based organization staff or volunteers focusing on bikeshare/shared micromobility and equity, or others focusing on the intersection of social justice and transportation as part of their primary work.

Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis; we will not consider requests for scholarships after September 18, 2020.

Q: When is the conference?

A: Wednesday, September 30 & Thursday, October 1.


Q: How much does the conference cost?

A: The regular conference rate is $250 USD. The discounted Government & Nonprofit rate is $175 USD.


Q: Do NABSA members receive complimentary tickets to the virtual conference?

A: NABSA member organizations receive three times the amount of complimentary tickets to our virtual conference that they would normally receive for our in-person conference. For example, if an organization normally receives two tickets, then they will receive six complimentary tickets to the virtual conference!


Q: Is there special pricing for Latin American residents?

A: Yes! Latin American residents can purchase a full-price ticket for $175 USD.


Q: Are there scholarships available?

A: Yes, we offer a select number of scholarships! Complete the scholarship application and send it to Zoe Kircos at zoe@peopleforbikes.org.
