Why are you interested in being a NABSA Board Member?
NABSA has been a huge part of my career in bikeshare/micromobility over the last decade and with my first launches being in Chicago and Guadalajara I’ve always had a special place in my heart for North America. Most importantly, those 10-years have given me insight into what works well and what doesn’t work well across European, North American and Latin American markets that I’m keen to share with the wider industry as we strive to make it an integral part of everyone’s day to day life.
What skills and experience would make you a good NABSA Board Member?
Having had over a decade of experience at the intersection of bikeshare/micromobility as a third-party software provider who works with cities, transport authorities, operators, hardware providers and everyone in between across the UK, Europe, North America, and Latin America, I’ve got a very good understanding of what works and what doesn’t when advocating, building and developing micromobility systems. Having been through three ‘bubbles’ from the Chinese free-floating bikeshare players, the scooter/micromobility boom and now the market consolidation the ability to understand what is needed from multiple stakeholders perspectives and the ‘European’ way could add a lot of value to the NABSA board.
