Having spent his working life focused on delivering alternative transportation options to people across the globe, Austin is passionate about accelerating modeshift into non-car transportation. As Sr. Director of at Third Lane Mobility (parent company to Bird and to Spin), Austin oversees all aspects of Third Lane Mobility’s government partnerships for North America. He joined the company in 2018 after spending seven years at Zipcar, where he built and led Zipcar’s university team comprising sales, account management, marketing and operations. When he’s not advocating for e-mobility vehicles, you can find Austin riding his daughters to and from soccer, basketball or ballet on their e-cargo bike.
