Why is being a board member of NABSA important to you?
Collaboration among a diverse set of experts is essential to supporting and growing sustainable, affordable, accessible, and fun car alternatives in cities. I am honored to be a part of that collaboration!

What experience or insight do you bring to your position on the board?
I’m bringing my lifelong obsession with cities and my passion for using policy to shape cities for the better. I’m also bringing both private and public sector know-how: prior to my policy position at Bird, I held public sector and public/private partnership roles in cities across the U.S. I’ve worked in the Mayors’ Offices of New York City and Washington D.C., at business improvement districts in Santa Monica and D.C., and in other corners of government. I have a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and an undergraduate degree in Urban Studies and English Literature from Brown University.

I am also the proud rider of either an ebike or a rusted, dysfunctional beach cruiser, depending on the circumstances.
