Member Spotlight: Evolve

Created by the British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA), Evolve E-Bike and E-Scooter Share is a micromobility program that operates across British Columbia. Currently available in Metro Vancouver, Whistler, and Vancouver Island, Evolve supports municipalities, organizations, and businesses looking to offer sustainable transportation options. Evolve works alongside Evo Car Share as part of BCAA’s broader mission to move British Columbians forward through innovative and eco-conscious mobility services.
Evolve recently relaunched its E-Cargo Bike pilot program in partnership with the District of North Vancouver and the City of North Vancouver. The initiative is supported by BC Hydro, TransLink, and Landlord BC, and will run through October 31, 2025. The program offers free access to Evolve E-Cargo Bikes through the Evo app, supporting a greener way to run errands, transport kids, or haul groceries.
Locations include:
- City of North Vancouver Public Library
- Lynn Valley Public Library
- A multi-unit residential building (The Lonsdale)
Evolve offers two e-cargo bike types: long-tail and cargo box models, each designed to meet different rider needs. They plan to add additional pickup/drop-off locations through the spring and summer to meet growing demand.

When asked about the value of NABSA membership they said, “Our operations are 100% BC-based and BC-focused, and we love bringing a Canadian—especially British Columbian—perspective to the conversation. We operate in a unique environment with its own strengths and challenges, so it’s encouraging to see Canadian insights represented within NABSA. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Evolve is built to serve the specific needs of each community we operate in, and being part of NABSA gives us the opportunity to learn from a diverse network of innovative thinkers doing the same in their regions. It’s a space where we can both learn and contribute—whether it’s through new ideas, pilot projects, or shared successes in micromobility.”
