Find Your Place to Thrive in Shared Micromobility

We are excited to release the second installment of Diverse Voices in Shared Micromobility. Watch this video to hear first hand from those helping to enhance the quality of urban life in Hamilton, Ontario by improving equitable access to transportation with Hamilton Bike Share. The video highlights how rewarding working in shared micromobility can be, what motivates individuals to do the work, and the variety of roles available.

Hamilton Bike Share operates the City of Hamilton’s bike share system that is composed of 800 smart bikes that serve over 25 square kilometers (over 9.5 square miles) of Hamilton, Ontario.

Through learning, listening, and growing, we strive to make shared micromobility more available to all who need it, to cultivate an environment of support in our industry, and to foster a deep sense of community where diversity is valued and celebrated. In September 2023, NABSA in partnership with Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) published the Building a Better Shared Micromobility Industry: Best Practices for More Diverse and Inclusive Workplaces toolkit. This pivotal resource offers invaluable insights into best practices for cultivating a diverse workplace and fostering a culture ingrained with the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Taking it off the page, and into the field, we are releasing Diverse Voices in Shared Micromobility: A Video Series.
