Why are you interested in being a NABSA Board Member?
I’ve been an active member of the NABSA community for the last 10 years, and I stand behind its mission of safety, access, and DEIB within shared micromobility. I currently serve as the NABSA DOB President and on the NABSA DEIB committee, helping to ensure that DEIB is integrated throughout NABSA’s work. I would like to continue my service on the NABSA board to further support NABSA’s work as a leading knowledge share, advocate, and resource in the shared micromobility industry while carrying forward our aligned mission of DEIB.
What skills and experience would make you a good NABSA Board Member?
I am a nationally recognized expert in transportation equity and have provided technical assistance to numerous shared micromobility systems that are working to incorporate equity and access into their operations. As a partner of the Better Bike Share Partnership Program, I work to address barriers to the use of shared micro-mobility for individuals with low income and BIPOC communities, while increasing equitable access in micromobility systems worldwide. As Indego Program Manager for the City of Philadelphia, I am responsible for overseeing, planning, and managing the City of Philadelphia’s bike share program.
