2025: Thanks for the Ride!
Goodbye 2025! This year we continued to support and convene our members and the shared micromobility industry through in-person and virtual events, resource publications, updates on key issues and topics, and leading advocacy efforts for policies and programs that support shared micromobility. Let’s relive our favorite moments together in 2025!

2025: NABSA Year-in-Review
It’s hard to believe 2025 is over already! We’re thrilled to share some NABSA highlights that made this year special:
We released our sixth annual Shared Micromobility State of the Industry Report for North America. The 2024 State of the Industry Report shows that shared micromobility ridership is thriving, showing that it is both a service that works for people to get where they need to go, and is also valued by communities of all sizes across North America.
- We added an additional staff member, increasing our capacity to serve NABSA members with advocacy resources and advocate for policies beneficial for the shared micromobility industry.
- We launched a new advocacy blog series and released an Advancing Advocates Federal Advocacy Toolkit for Communities available to members.
- We compiled and published a new resource page on our website to support and guide diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) efforts.
- NABSA was in GovTech, Planetizen, Zag Daily, and more!
- We highlighted how shared micromobility benefits rural and small communities and lifted up the voices of people that make shared micromobility happen in our blog.
- We hosted 9 virtual events where we brought members together, explored insurance for shared micromobility, spotlighted recent research, discussed the future of shared micromobility, took stock of the policy landscape, analyzed the state of shared micromobility, and more!
- We brought the shared micromobility community together through in-person and virtual events, social media, and our newsletter with an audience of over 7000.
We hosted the Momentum: The Power of Shared Micromobility Conference in Montreal. The conference theme captured shared micromobility’s resilience and continual evolution and growth; it recognized the power of shared micromobility to increase efficiency and economic growth in our core transportation systems and expand equitable and environmentally sustainable transportation options.
Thanks to our members and partners for a great 2025. We are looking forward to an exciting 2026!
See You Next Year!
NABSA offices will be closed from December 24 – January 4, 2026 for the holiday season. Happy holidays – and see you next year!
