NABSA Hosts a Shared Micromobility Research Showcase


On Wednesday, April 30th, NABSA brought together researchers to highlight their work in shared micromobility. Participants shared their latest findings on infrastructure and planning, uses of shared micromobility, economic benefits, equity, behavior, and sustainability. 

Participants included:

  • Grant McKenzie, Associate Professor of Spatial Data Science in the Department of Geography at McGill University 
  • Léa Ravensbergen,  Assistant Professor in the School of Earth, Environment & Society (SEES) at McMaster University
  • Kyeongbin (KB) Kim, Empirical Marketing Scientist completing her doctoral studies at Emory University and joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison Business School as an Assistant Professor this summer
  • Dr. Suman Kumar Mitra, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville 
  • Naomi Seula Lee, PhD candidate in Urban Planning and Development at the University of Southern California and 2022 Meddin Emerging Researcher Scholar
  • Mehdi Nourinejad, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at York University and an Amazon Scholar at Amazon Science 
  • Dr. Hua Cai, Thomas and Jane Schmidt Rising Star Associate Professor at Purdue University, holding a joint appointment in Industrial Engineering and Environmental and Ecological Engineering
