Member Spotlight: Tandem Mobility
Tandem Mobility was born out of a desire to help develop and manage complete mobility solutions with community partners. They provide comprehensive turnkey mobility solutions and recreational self-rental programs across 150+ communities alongside their sister company, Rent.Fun. Tandem operates systems across North America and can source most anything with a smart lock – some examples include bluetooth- or cellular-enabled bikes (classic or electric assist), an automated kayak rental station, a double decker bike cage, or a simple disc golf locker. Tandem partners with Movatic software to power communities with their administrative and partner dashboards and end-user mobile application.
In 2025 Tandem and Rent.Fun are joining together to offer all of their assets under one roof – one app, one membership. They plan to offer all of the modes and membership benefits together.
Tandem works with communities of all sizes – from small scale pilot programs to interconnected regional transit systems. They aim to collaborate with municipalities and stakeholders on system design, funding strategies, and success measures.
