Find Your Place to Thrive in Shared Micromobility

Check out the first installment of our video series, Diverse Voices in Shared Micromobility. This first video highlights those involved in making Guadalajara’s MiBici bikeshare system thrive. Watch the video to hear about the variety of positions available in shared micromobility, what inspires individuals to do the work, and how shared micromobility can help transform their city and change communities for the better.

MiBici, Guadalajara’s resident bikeshare system, is composed of 3,900 bikes and 360 stations. The program employs 150 individuals and this December will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Through learning, listening, and growing, we strive to make shared micromobility more available to all who need it, to cultivate an environment of support in our industry, and to foster a deep sense of community where diversity is valued and celebrated. In September 2023, NABSA in partnership with Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) published the Building a Better Shared Micromobility Industry: Best Practices for More Diverse and Inclusive Workplaces toolkit. This pivotal resource offers invaluable insights into best practices for cultivating a diverse workplace and fostering a culture ingrained with the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Taking it off the page, and into the field, we are releasing Diverse Voices in Shared Micromobility: A Video Series.
