NABSA is excited to welcome Destinie Hammond to the team as our new Communications Manager! She’s responsible for managing all NABSA communications and will develop the strategies and tactics needed to achieve NABSA’s engagement goals. She is most excited about the opportunity to help shift the narrative about shared micromobility and learn from experts in the industry.

Destinie received her B.A. in Mass Communications from Southern University of Baton Rouge. She served as the Communications Associate and Digital Media Coordinator at the Louisiana SPCA for four years before transitioning to Social Bicycles d.b.a JUMP by Uber. While there, she helped to launch New Orleans’ first and only bikeshare program, Blue Bikes NOLA and served as their Community Engagement Manager.

Destinie is a resident of New Orleans and loves to take photos and attend the city’s many parades or festivals. When not out and about in the town, she enjoys hiking, fishing, and camping with her friends, or tending to her backyard garden. She is the proud pet parent of two senior dogs, Papi and Foxie.
