Why is being a board member of NABSA important to you?

In Oregon, the transportation sector is the leading source of greenhouse gas emissions. Bike share helps people to drive less while making city life more convenient and fun. Serving on the board allows me to help encourage bike share innovation and help us share best practices. I have learned so much from my board and industry peers. When I think about the compliments I’ve received about BIKETOWN, they nearly all tie directly back to NABSA.

What experience or insight do you bring to your position on the board?

I bring over a decade of experience working in behavior change and twenty years in public policy. I like to solve problems and be ambitious. I am very excited for Portland to host NABSA’s 2018 conference and I’m committed to making it our best conference ever.
